110cc Fourwheeler Has High Rev with Very Low Speed

Hey everybody got a good deal on a small 110cc fourwheeler a while ago so when my friends come up they can ride with me rather then sit on the back of my bike, anyway its a Chinese -Daymak 110cc and it will go about 20 - 25 untill it redlines, I have had a dirtbike same brand, same engine size before and it went about 60 - 70, Only know because i drove beside my buddys van oneday.

The atv is literally the same thing but like i said it goes real slow, so slow I can run faster then it will drive it revs like it wants you to change gears but there is only 3 gears, Drive ( all the way down) Nuteral (one up) and Reverse ( one up again)

It is semi and has no clutch. What could be wrong here, is it carb or a clutch problem?

Thanks For Reading.

is your clutch slipping, or is it just geared low.

It doesnt feel like the clutch is slipping, it really only has one gear so im not shure if that would make a difference. Is it possible that the clutch would slip at a higher speed then when just taking off?

probably has a centripatal clutch in it so if the belt is stripped/stretched it could cause the high rev your having at slow speeds because it has to spin faster to engage the belt check and see if that is your problem

with you saying it only has one gear then this has to be your problem cause i had a go kart that used to do this when the belt got stretched

hope this helps

^^^Also agree with the idea of the belt being warn and slipping. My sons lt80 was doing this when he went thru lots of puddles. The belt was worn to begin with and with it getting wet it would slip to the point where the quad wouldn't move at all with him on it (50lbs) We later found out one of the side cover bolts was missing resulting in the water leaking in.....

60-70 on a 110cc dirtbike ?!?!?!? WOW

doesnt sound like anything is wrong, just low geared. if it is chain drive get a 1 tooth bigger front sprocket, give you a little more top end.

that you guys I appreciate it, Il check it out after work today!!!

And i know it seems unrealistic but that Dirtbike was fast!!!
was only a 4 speed!
My buddy has a 94 Yamaha Moto 4 that needs new piston rings cuz she isnt to fast and smokes, But my bike went waster then his quad with almost 3X the speed LOL I wish I had a video of me riding it to show you.
