Question ITP SS112 or ITP SS312 - finish durability

Hello everyone!

I am extremely close to ordering up a new set of wheels and tires for my '13 Honda Foreman. I have the tires and sizes picked out (Maxxis Bighorn -26x9 & 26x12x12). I have the wheels narrowed down to 2 different rims (ITP SS112 & SS312).

My question has to do with durability. Not structure (i know they have a lifetime structure warranty) but of the finish on both of these wheels. I am curious as to what you guys that are running these are seeing? Feel free to post a pic of your machine as well!

I will not be muddying them in 2+ feet of mud or dragging them through any really rough trails but they will see corn stalks and gravel a lot. Is one of these going to hold up significantly better than the other?

Thanks for your thoughts.

I have the ITP SS212's on my Rancher. Put them on with new tires a few months ago. Have ridden them pretty hard on mostly trails, fields, and maybe some tire deep mud and they have help up well with no issues. I got the matte finish and they still look brand new. I am picky about my ride and it does get hosed off and dried after each long ride and I have a good coat of polish on the rims.

ive had both sets and the 312's hold up better they don't show scratches as much. the finish is flat black which hides them were the 112's is glossy and shows them.

Hello Casey. Between you, Bryan, and foreman I am really leaning towards the 312's. I am also picky about my stuff and was curious what you use for wheel polish and cleaner?

Do you have any pics of your quad with the 312's on it?

Thanks!

Thanks HF500! Would you happen to have any pics of your quads? I do like the flat black rather than the gloss.

Hey Grizz,

I'm new to the forum and am basically in the same boat as you. I just purchased a 2013 Honda Foreman 4x4 and I'd very much like to see your pics.
